This is the most prestigious degree worldwide, with it you can dive wherever you want. Valid worldwide!
The best way to learn to dive is to sign up for a course PADI Open Water Diver which is specially designed for those who want to learn to dive for the first time. You do not have to be an expert swimmer nor do you have to have had any diving experience.
The PADI Open Water course is made up of theory and practice. Now with PADI eLearning , you have the option to start the course from home; the theory at your own pace, when you want and when you can.

PADI Open Water Diver
They can be done in one of two ways:
- You can do the course in two weekends, or during the week, we have extensive schedules in both modalities,
we will always try to adapt to you, whether you do the course alone or in a group
OPTION 1
Complete course in La Herradura - Granada
3/4 full days of course
(can be divided into 2 weekends)
Requirements
- Minimum age 12 years (with the authorization of the guardian)
- BOE official health questionnaire
- online theory with PADI eLearning
- Practices in confined water or swimming pool.
- 4 dives open waters in the Sea (La Herradura Openwater Diving Center).
It includes
- All diving equipment (just bring your swimsuit and towel).
- All teaching material PADI to take the course.
- Diving insurance for the course.
- Processing of the international degree PADI Open Water Diver
- Accommodation included in La Herradura in our cozy diving "Casa Escuela" (subject to availability)
OPTION 2
Course in Madrid and La Herradura - Granada
(wide hours during the week and weekend)
Requirements
- Minimum age 12 years (with the authorization of the guardian)

Terms
*travel and meals NOT included
* in the months of May to September (bridges and holidays) we recommend booking at least 1 month in advance to ensure the place
* the price of the course does not vary if you do not need/have accommodation
*for courses started in Madrid, you have a maximum period of 1 year to finish the course in La Herradura (term established by PADI, it cannot be extended)
